An entire month has flown by! I'm back to work next week :( But, then only a few more weeks and then school's out and I'll get to enjoy the entire summer with my beautiful boy! We just celebrated my first mother's day. Mother's day night, after Grant went to bed, I spent a few hours writing down (on paper) the series of events (and emotions) leading up to his birth, and the hours afterward. I was surprised by the amount of detail that I could remember, even a month later. But, I'm so glad that I wrote it down now because someday the details will fade. I am so blessed to be a mother. And, I am so grateful for my mother, and her mother, from whom I learned everything I know about loving my child.
